After almost three years of the initial release of SPECTRE (2015), Daniel Craig is all set to return as the stout-hearted spy OO7, with the 25th confirmed outing of the James Bond series, which is set to be released on April 8, 2020.
James Bond 25 will mark Craig’s final outing in the role of James Bond after portraying the iconic role in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, and Spectre. Since it might be the final outing of Craig as OO7, here’s a list of actors who might perfectly play the role of Bond in upcoming movies of the franchise after Bond 25.
#1 Henry Cavill
The Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill tops the list as a fan favorite when it’s about playing the next James Bond on the screens. Henry Cavill in his recent interview with Yahoo UK quoted that he strongly wills to portray the next Bond in upcoming James Bond movies, he also said that his stunt training during Mission Impossible: Fallout can be easily carried onto the Bond franchise.
Back in 2006, the actor was highly preferred for the role but ended up as a runner up due to his young age in Casino Royal. Now, in his 30s, we might see the actor grabbing the role and probably as the next OO7.
#2 Tom Hardy
The Venom star Tom Hardy is not so far when it comes to grabbing a chance to play James Bond in the Bond franchise. His performances in his previous films including Venom was highly appreciated by the critics.
Though Hardy has remained quite about running for the role, he is said to be one of the favorites of the producers and might be the one who will be seen as James Bond after Craig leaves the franchise after Bond 25.
#3 Luke Evans
Another major name in the list for the replacement of OO7 is Fast and the Furious star Luke Evans. Evans had previously been a part of major Hollywood franchises including Fast and the Furious and Hobbit.
The actor previously managed to beat Tom Hardy in a poll by GQ which asked readers their preference regarding the next actor in Bond’s role.
#4 Michael Fassbender
The X-Men star has been a major fan favorite for the recasting of James Bond. However, Michael has been clear to his fans about not in the race for portraying Bond on the big screens, but still casting Michael as OO7 might be a great choice of the producers if the actor gets ready to do so.
