There Are Over 101,000 Approved iPhone Apps And Counting
If you take a look at App Shopper, there are over 101,000 approved iPhone applications as of Tuesday morning. Apple has not taken the time to publicly announce this new jaw dropping statistic yet. I think the reason they haven’t done so is because that’s just the number of approved apps. According to App Shopper, the actual number of available applications is 93,083 and counting, which is just as impressive.
Back in September, we mentioned that the number of available apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch was at 85,000. In less than a moth there have been more than 15,000 applications approved, from which about 8,000 have launched since then. Massive and impressive figures.
It won’t be long before the number of available apps reaches 100,000 and Apple will most likely officially announce those impressive new figures.
