Just a couple of days ago, Amazon announced the soon-to-be-released beta version of its Kindle application for PC. When I wrote about it, I criticized Amazon, which unlike Barnes & Noble, does not have an official Kindle application for either Mac OS or BlackBerry devices. It seems like Amazon came under heavy criticism, because now there’s word going around that they have finally decided to launch a BlackBerry and Mac OS version of its Kindle app. Don’t hold your breath though, as no official released date has been announced yet. We’ll have more information on this as it becomes available.
