Beta of Google Chrome for Mac Only 8 Bugs Away

Apple Google Chrome

As we all know, a beta of Google Chrome for Mac is said to be released in December. No one really knows the specific date though. We do know that the beta is still on track, as Mike Pinkerton, the Technical Lead of the Google Chrome for Mac team, sent out the following tweet this afternoon:

“8 remaining M4 Mac beta blockers! Go team! #chrome”

“M4” stands for “Milestone 4.” Milestone is the way the Google team refers to each build of the program, in this case it’s build 4, which will be the beta release version of Google Chrome for Mac.

So it appears that the beta release of Google Chrome for Mac is just 8 bugs away. At the beginning of this month, Pinkerton expressed there were about 20 bugs remaining. If it took them about 3 weeks to get rid of more than 12 bugs, that means the beta build of Google Chrome for Mac might be released sooner than we expect. Two weeks, maybe?

Are you Mac users excited about finally getting the Google Chrome browser?
