New iPhone App Allows You to Walk and Type at the Same Time — Safely

Ever find yourself walking about, typing on your phone, despite the risks of hitting a moving car, tree, street pharmacist, or tree branch? Friends, I think a new app aptly titled “Type n Walk” is your fix. You see, the application will essentially allow you to walk with your iPhone and type by setting a live image of what’s in front of you (using the iPhone’s built-in camera) as the background and allowing you to type as normal.
It’s a slightly tricky concept to grasp, so the video after the article break should explain it all.

Google’s Latest Ad Was Likely Written By a Student … In the Second Grade

We don’t really like reporting on mistakes, because we make our fair share of them (like when I spelt “Beatkles” instead of “Beatles” a few articles back), but we had to present this one here.
TechCrunch reader Auston Bunsen came across a recent Google Apps advertisement for students depicting, wait for it, a typo! You see, even though the validity of this screenshot cannot be confirmed, the seven-year-old who made the ad typed in “then” instead of “than”.
Google soon realized it had its skirt up, and corrected the mishap, in which you can see the corrected version here.
