Apple Distributes Fourth Mac OS X 10.6.5 Build to Developers

Another week, another build of Mac OS X 10.6.5 seeded to developers. Cupertino, California-based Apple has distributed yet another build of the upcoming Mac OS X 10.6.5 to developers. The new build, which is the fourth to date, has been officially labeled Build 10H535.
Apple has once again asked developers to focus their testing on iCal, Mail, USB Devices, QuickTime, Time Machine, and 3D graphics, which is exactly what Apple asked developers to focus on last time. However, the problem doesn’t include just Macs with WMware, but computers running Parallels as well.

Apple Unveils New Mac Mini

The highly-anticipated follow-up to Apple’s Mac Mini computer has finally made its debut overnight. That’s right, Cupertino has let loose its next version of the Mac Mini, complete with an HDMI port and SD card reader. That’s not all that’s changed, no sir. Apple has completely redesigned the system, giving it a slimmer aluminum shell — reminiscent of that we’re familiar with on the MacBook Pro line.
No more power brick for this beast, as the power supply is now built-in. The computer is available in 2.4Ghz: 320GB or 2.66: 500GB Intel Core 2 Duo configurations priced at $699 and $999. We should mention the latter Mini is actually called the ‘Mac Mini with Snow Leopard Server’.
We’re seeing this thing as a whole lot of people’s new media center.

On Friday, Apple released the beta of Mac OS X 10.6.3 (also known as Build 10D567) to developers — a 718MB download — similar to beta builds seeded before it. Thus far, there are seemingly no issues to report with the beta, which could signify its release sometime in the near future.
The update is said to improve both security and compatibility within QuickTime X, enhance the performance of the Apple 64-bit Logic Pro Suite, and improve compatibility with printers of varies makes.
The California-based company is said to have asked developers to particularly focus on the aforementioned features of OS X — printing, Quicktime, iChat, and graphics drivers.
