Google Chrome OS Tablet To Make Debut on Verizon November 26th

Originating from what has been described as an “unknown source”, DownloadSquad is reporting today that Google has built a Chrome OS tablet with help from HTC, and the device will launch on Verizon Wireless’ network come November 26th, 2010 — a date known otherwise as “Black Friday” [this year].
As one would expect, not too many details are available on this so-called tablet, but it is speculated to sport a 1280×720 display, 2GB of RAM, a 32GB solid-state drive, and WiFI/Bluetooth/3G wireless connectivity. Not bad.
As for now, we would advise you to take the above information in with a grain of salt, at least until some more information on this so-called tablet is made available.
Microsoft to Block Google/Yahoo Japan Partnership

A few days ago, it was reported that Yahoo Japan was partnering up with Google to offer better search and advertising. As it was believed, Microsoft is not too happy about the partnership. As a matter of fact, the Redmond-based company has admitted that it will actually try to block the agreement by bringing up the old antitrust allegation to the Japanese FTC.
A Microsoft representative told Silicon Alley Insider the following:
“We plan to present evidence to the Japanese FTC explaining why we believe that this deal is substantially more harmful to competition than Google’s deal with Yahoo in 2008 that the DOJ found to be illegal.”
By joining forces, Google and Yahoo will own 98% of the search market in Japan. Microsoft states that that percentage is more than what Yahoo and Google would have owned here in the U.S. when they planned to partner up and were denied by the U.S. Department of Justice.
Best Buy Connect to Offer 4G Mobile Broadband Service Through Partnership with Clearwire

Best Buy announced today in partnership with Clearwire that at the beginning of 2011 its Best Buy Connect service will offer 4G wireless mobile broadband plans to its customers through the WiMAX network. Google Soon to Announce Zynga Partnership
A recently published article by the Wall Street Journal would suggest that Google will soon be announcing a partnership with social gaming company Zynga.
From the article:
When asked about Google’s partnership with Zynga, Mr. Schmidt said “we haven’t announced it” but “you can expect a partnership with Zynga” in the future. Google’s partnership with Zynga was reported earlier by the blog TechCrunch.
That is true, TechCrunch did indeed let some details loose on Google’s investment in Zynga, signaling a partnership in the works potentially at this very minute.
Though we’re soon to get official word from Google on the partnership, no information with reference to when said word will come has been mentioned. Stay tuned.
Google Partners Up with Zynga to Launch Google Games

According to TechCrunch‘s Michael Arrington, sources have confirmed that Google has quietly invested up to $200 million on Zynga, the creators of popular online games such as Farmville and Mafia Wars. The investment was apparently made by Google itself, and not Google Ventures, as part of a bigger strategic deal with Zynga. The Mountain View-based company is apparently planning to launch a game portal of its own later this year.
The Zynga social games will be utilized as foundation to the upcoming Google Games hub. Additionally, some things could also change on Zynga’s side of the deal. The social gaming giant currently utilizes PayPal, but it would make much sense if the payment service was replaced with Google Checkout as part of the new partnership, just as it did when Zynga partnered up with Facebook. Facebook Credits ultimately replaced PayPal.
There’s already a job opening for a Product Lead for Google Games at Google. You can check out the listing in the full post.

Pirate Date is using Meezoog’s platform. Everything about the site including its interface, menus, and more resemble those found on Meezoog. Additionally, similar to Meezoog, the Pirate Date allows members to share their single friends with other in order to match them up with other members.
The service also allows users to easily connect using their Facebook credentials, thanks to Facebook Connect.
