iPhone 4G Concept.

The tech world has certainly learned to not get their hopes up for an Apple device after Steve Jobs debuted the giant iPod Touch iPad on January 27th, 2010. Without getting into too much detail, let’s just say that with regard to the iPad’s functionality — it’s limited.

But it’s still fun to look at concept photos of new Apple devices. Case in point: Apple’s upcoming iPhone 4G — expected to make its debut in June/July, and potentially coming to Verizon Wireless (although, given Apple’s relationship with AT&T again with the iPad, we’re not getting our hopes up). Already, artists are hard at work piecing together what they think the next iPhone could appear as.

February 9th, 2010 1 Comment   Posted in Comedy

During the third quarter of the Super Bowl on Sunday, Google aired its very first one-minute TV commercial titled “Parisian Love,” which promoted its search engine. Turns out the ad has already become a target of mockery for The Brig Beta Team at the Upright Citizens Brigade, who have recreated the TV ad to deal with unexpected pregnancy. Their version of the commercial has been properly dubbed “Parisian Oops,” and has been given the following tagline: “Romance, Consequences, Awkwardness. Search on.”

Now, the comedians at CollegeHumor gives their perspective of how the iPad is revolutionizing… the comedy industry. Unfortunately for Apple, the iPad has become a pretty easy target for jokes. AT&T Adds Verizon’s Latest “Misleading” Ads to Lawsuit

Verizon New Commercial

A little over a week ago, we reported that AT&T had filed a suit against Verizon over allegations that Verizon’s ”There’s a map for that” ad was misleading their customers. A few days later, Verizon once again released a new series of ads for the holidays mocking AT&T’s poor 3G coverage using the same map that got AT&T mad in the first place. Well, AT&T has now amended its lawsuit to include Verizon’s newest ads. AT&T has also released a statement setting “the record straight on Verizon’s ads” and their wireless data coverage.

Come on AT&T, don’t be so uptight. The new ads are great, especially “The island of misfit toys.” Try to have some fun, will you?
