Sparklines debuted in Excel for Windows 2010, and due to our close working relationship with the team, we are also able to provide them in Excel 2011 – making it easy to share workbooks across platforms.
Adobe Releases Broken Photoshop Express For iPad, Updates App Promptly
Let’s just say that the launch of Adobe Express for iPad on Friday wasn’t the best for Adobe. The company managed to release the application — but there was a problem. It didn’t open in landscape mode. Naturally, users began to complain (mind you, despite the fact the product is free).
Adobe took quite some flak for not including support for the orientation many folks feel using their iPad is most productive in. Now, the company has promptly updated the application to accommodate all users. No doubt, many are still finding reasons to complain.
You may now download the update and quit complaining.

Apple Launches Aperture 3

The Apple Store was reportedly down worldwide earlier today. There were quite a few speculations on the Internet as to what could be new. Some believed Apple was updating the store with the rumored new MacBook Pro 6.1 believed to be launched today. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Instead, Apple just released its photo editing and management software Aperture version 3.
The new Aperture 3 has been priced at $199 . Current Aperture 2.0, which was released almost two years ago, can easily upgrade for just $99. There’s also a free 30-day trial available.
Wikipedia Implementing New Editing Policy
In an effort to prevent inaccurate information from being posted on some of its articles, Wikipedia is implementing a new editing policy. This new policy applies to the English version of the encyclopedia. The way it works is that regular contributors will review articles written by new contributors. Although, readers will be able to see the unedited version if they choose to.
As for biographies or high profile articles, they will have to be reviewed before they are published. All this to avoid vandalism or information which could defame a person. Erik Moeller, deputy director of Wikimedia Foundation said in a blog post that the new changes in the policy are merely an improvement to the previous rule that prevented new contributors from editing very important articles.

Next iPod Touch? It Has a Camera

There have been some rumors and speculation floating on the net today about the next iPod Touch, and more so, the camera it may have. While it’s almost a given that the next generation of Apple’s incredibly popular touch iPod would have some sort of camera, one website is already selling cases for it, for a mere $1.69.
Here’s the description of the item:
Is this for real or some kind of joke? How would a site like Uxsight know about the new design, anyway? There’s some evidence, but from another source.
TechCrunch has reported that Apple has placed a huge order for camera modules (priced in the $10 range and similar to those used in the iPhone) from Asia, and “the size of the order, our source says, means they can only be used for one thing – the iPods”, wrote Michael Arrington.
We’ll keep following this.
