Dell Mini 3i OPhone Gets Detailed Just Before Launch in China

The Dell Mini 3i Ophone is set to be released in China later this week. Just before the big launch, Dell wanted to make sure that everyone knows the official specifications of their latest touchscreen device running the OPhone platform by releasing a new press release with more detailed information.

According to the press release the new Dell Mini 3i Ophone will feature:

  • Entertainment: Access to China Mobile’s Mobile Market suite of services, games, productivity tools, wallpapers, ringtones and applications. Discover China’s popular Internet sites including 51.com, Kaixin and Renren.
  • Customization: Personalize MP3 ring tones, icons and shortcuts. Run widgets on the home screen: sports, stocks, news and weather tickers. More »

Dell Mini 3i Android Phone Coming To America

According to a recent CrunchGear post (and rumor), Dell is apparently planning to bring the Dell Mini 3i Android device over to the United States within the next few months. The device is currently only being sold in China, where its design has been expressed as both cheap and “plasticky.”

The American version of the device is expected to be upgraded for the finicky consumers of our nation. Among the upgrades, better hardware, and a 5-megapixel camera (the Chinese version is 3-megapixel).
