Ustream Launches New Social Stream Service
October 30th, 2009 Posted in Online by Bertrand

Ustream launched a new feature for live video streams called “Social Stream.” Social Stream allows users to publish their comments in real-time while they watch live videos. The commenters can simultaneously choose and combine from four of the Internet’s largest social networking services: Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and/or AIM. The comments will appear as status updates on their corresponding websites, as well as in the Ustream live video page. Any of the chosen services will automatically include a link to the video the users are watching. This new feature gives any live video the potential to go viral in a short amount of time.
