New Jailbreak For iPhone OS 3.1.2 Available For Windows Users

A couple of months ago, we saw the web abuzz about a jailbreak for the iPhone 3GS dubbed “purplera1n” by George Hotz. Today, another jailbreak for iPhone OS 3.1.2 is available, and it’s aptly named “blackra1n.”
The jailbreak is currently only available to Windows users and works on, wait for it, all generations of both the iPhone and iPod Touch — though the third generation of the iPod Touch will need to be tethered. Installation procedure is almost identical to that of purplera1n, so in other words, it’s easy.
