IMDb (Internet Movie Database) Turns 19 Today

imdb19logoThe Internet Movie Database has been the one-stop shop for information on all of your favorite films, TV shows, actors, actresses, an so on. The site, which was launched on October 17, 1990 turns a whopping 19 years old today.

In commemoration of this day, IMDb has changed their logo (see image), but that’s not all they’ve changed. Over the years, IMDb has changed their look, and of course, content is changing and being added every day.

IMDb is perhaps one of the oldest popular sites still in operation. The site currently takes the 44th slot in traffic rank in the US and 39th worldwide, according to Alexa.
