Nokia Board of Directors Seek New CEO

Nokia’s board of directors is officially seeking a new CEO to run the company into a more positive light, according to a report published by the WSJ.
“They are serious about making a change,” said a source familiar with the situation. “[Nokia is supposed to make a decision by the end of the month,” the source continued.
The desire for change comes as the current Nokia CEO, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, “struggles to find traction for the company in the market for high-end smartphones.”
Many are doubtful, however, that a new CEO will change Nokia’s place in the smartphone market. The company has seriously fallen behind, though it would be interesting to see what a new CEO could do to improve Nokia’s image.
More information as it becomes available.
