At the beginning of this month, we learned some of the very first details regarding the latest iteration of the BlackBerry Storm — the Storm 3. Those first details really depicted the device as something completely new by Research In Motion [RIM]. However, if an alleged training slide is to be believed, the third generation BlackBerry Storm will be nothing more than a minor “refresh” of the BlackBerry Storm 2.
The slide tells us that the Blackberry Storm 3 will include the following:
- A new refreshed UI thanks to the new BlackBerry 6
- WebKit Browser
- 512MB Of RAM
- 5MP camera with improved UI
- World Edition
- 802.11n Wi-Fi
- 3G mobile hotspot [coming soon]
We originally heard that the Storm 3 would feature a completely different OS, though this doesn’t appear to be the case. The most exciting new feature here appears to be the 3G mobile hotspot, a service that has become very popular and useful on Android-powered smartphones. However, it seems that the hotspot feature will not be available at launch.
Do take into account that the validity of the image can’t be confirmed. Additionally, the photo is completely blurry and out of focus. Ultimately, companies are known to change specifications radically at the very last minute. According to the blurry slide, the device will be released in “***ember,” which matches with previous rumors of a holiday release. Therefore there still plenty of time for RIM to make some changes.

After all this time Rim must propose something of innovative and shocking but especially regarding software performance, however, because the design of the Storm is really still very nice!
I think so…. !
