FCC Approves Apple Magic Trackpad

It appears that the the U.S. Federal Communications Commission has approved the rumored “Apple Magic Trackpad.” The device described as just a “Bluetooth Device” appeared in the FCC online database on Monday, featuring model number A1339, which has been previously spotted in leaks of the device. The FCC documents also reveal that the test report has been completed since October 2009.
At the moment, it’s unknown when exactly the so-called Apple Magic Trackpad will be launched. However, Apple usually releases its new products shortly after the FCC gives them its seal of approval. Therefore, the Magic Trackpad could be released as soon as this week. Do take into account that a release date has not been confirmed. We’ll update when we learn new information.
