Google Mobile iPad Application Now Available

A recently published post by Google sums it up quite nicely: the Google Mobile application is now officially available for iPad users worldwide, allowing them to harness and concentrate the beauty of ‘Googling’ on their 9.7-inch multitouch displays.

As you would likely come to expect, the application does what the iPhone application does, but claims to take advantage of the larger screen real estate.

“While this first version of Google Mobile App for iPad is essentially the same app we’ve built for iPhone, we’re working on improving Google Mobile App so that it takes advantage of iPad’s features. Stay tuned as we continue to make it and other Google products even better on this new type of device,” writes Google’s Alastair Tse, software engineer.
