Twitter Advertising Platform Coming In ‘About a Month’

According to a panel conversation with  internet marketer Seth Goldstein and Twitter’s head of product management and monetization Anamitra Banerji, micro-blogging giant Twitter is planning to launch their not-so-anticipated advertising platform nearly 4 years after initially commencing in “about a month.” As of current, no specific date is known.

“We are working on an ad platform, but it’s only in the test phase,” said Banerji.

While the news isn’t all that relevant to anyone aside from Twitter, some are happy knowing that additional revenue can be used to improve Twitter’s infrastructure, increasing reliability and reducing downtime. We couldn’t do much more than speculate at this point, which is why we’ll publish more on this as we learn.
