CES 2010 Rumor Alert: HTC Privately Unveiling New Touchscreen Tablet

Just after the last CES 2010 rumor regarding Samsung Mobile, we learn that HTC might be unveiling a new touchscreen tablet to a select group of guests in a private session at the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 next week. According to BGR, this rumored HTC Tablet will be Android-powered and will feature a Qualcomm processor, a possible  multi-touch display, and new software from Adobe.

The Taiwanese-based manufacturer has been secretly working in partnership with Google on this tablet for the past 18 months and it’s just one of various models. HTC is expected to release another tablet powered by Google Chrome OS later in 2010.

If this rumor turns out to be true, HTC will beat Apple to the punch. And though we have yet to see the Apple Tablet, the question we’re asking ourselves is: will this HTC Tablet be an Apple Tablet killer? Let us know what you think.
