Google: Give Chrome as a Christmas Present

Chrome for Xmas

Google has started a new campaign called ChromeForChristmas, which lets you give your loved ones Google’s very own Chrome browser for Christmas. You are even allowed to use virtual wrapping paper based on 15 different Chrome Themes, including Dolce & Gabbana, Porsche, Alice + Olivia, Vivienne Westwood, and Oscar de La Renta. After your present is all wrapped up, you can choose to email it to just one person or “lots of people at the same time.”

Along with the wrapped Google Chrome logo, Google also sends an e-card with your photo or video and a message. When the person gets the message, they get to unwrap their “present” and are then asked to download Google Chrome.

Of course, this is just a marketing campaign. I’m pretty sure though that some cheapos are still going to take advantage of this and just give out Google Chrome to their friends and family. Still, this will be the best [free] present those poor people will get for Christmas.

To start wrapping and sending Google Chrome to your dear ones, just go to www.chromeforchristmas.com.
