In effort to drive even more attention to Microsoft’s latest and successful operating system, Windows 7, the Washington-based software giant is headed to the heart of New York City to open a PC Lounge to showcase just how great their new operating system is. Oh, did we mention that the lounge is located smack-dab in Saks Fifth Avenue’s flagship store?

The lounge, which is pictured, will feature a gigantic Windows logo, several computers, and of course; the Windows 7 operating system. Engadget reports that “Windows 7 will be used to drive Saks’ window displays, and opportunities will be provided for customers to interact with the new [operating system] throughout the building,” as per an agreement between the two companies.

Surely and unconventional, but interesting partnership, we’d say.
