Techmeme Staff Doubles in Size

Technology news aggregator, Techmeme, has come a long way. From its early days as an automated tech news aggregator to the addition of its first human editor, Megan McCarthy. Today, Techmeme’s founder, Gabe Rivera, announced that his team has just doubled in size with the addition of three more editors: Rich DeMuro, formerly of CNET; Lidija Davis, formerly of ReadWriteWeb; and Mahendra Palsule, writer for MakeUseOf.com and a former IT project manager.
Rivera proudly says that they are “now staffed 24 hours a day most weekdays.” This means that Megan and the three new members will be in charge of editing the news that flow through Techmeme everyday, while Rivera and his first co-worker, friend, and fellow programmer Omer Horvitz take mostly on the algorithm part of the site.
You can find a Twitter List with the whole Techmeme’s team on the official Techmeme Twitter account, so you can follow them.
