Microsoft to Announce Its Internet Explorer 9 Plans Today

Internet Explorer LogoAccording to Neowin’s close sources, Microsoft will be unveiling its plans for Internet Explorer 9 today at the Professional Developers Conference [PDC] in Los Angeles, California. It is said that Microsoft VP Steven Sinofsky will reveal the details. There was also talks of a technical preview of Internet Explorer 9 for developers and customers, but now it seems that it won’t  happen until CES 2010.

Plans for Silverlight 4 are to be announced today at the PDC by Scott Guthrie, VP in the Microsoft Developer Division. Internet Explorer 9 and Silverlight 4 are essential to fulfill Microsoft’s plans to make their services available for computers, phones and TVs.
