Even though the Android 2.0 SDK has been around for quite a while now, it wasn’t until last night that Google finally released the Android 2.0 [Eclair] source code to the Android Open Source Project.
This release has already made a big impact in the world of Android based devices. Just a few hours after the code was released, Android 2.0 was already running on the very first device to use the Android OS, the T-Mobile G1 or HTC Dream. According to Cyanogen, a leading Android hacker, only audio and video are not working on the G1 after installing Eclair.
