NASA Launches Application for iPhone/iPod Touch

NASA has just launched (not literally) an application for both the iPhone and iPod Touch. According to NASA, the application provides “information, videos, images, and news updates about NASA missions.”
Among some of the features: countdown clocks, and tracking of the International Space Station, along with other objects orbiting the Earth.
As far as I’ve tested, the application is fairly interesting. Not bad for a free app.
As you might have guessed, the purpose of the application is to renew the public’s interest in the space program.
