Google To Launch New Music Service

Google LogoRumor has it that Google is planning to launch their very own music service, according to TechCrunch sources. The California-based search giant has apparently been working tirelessly on getting content from major music labels for the launch of what is being called “Google Audio.”

We’ve been informed that the new service will be available for users in the United States, but will be unlike the music service Google launched in China last year, which allows end users to search and download music free of charge. As far as a launch date goes, we unfortunately do not yet have this information.

We’ll post more on this as we learn more.
