According to iClarified, Apple started shipping iPhone 3GS units updated with iBoot-359.3.2, a bootrom that is resistant to the 24kpwn exploit. The 24kpwn exploit is used by hackers to jailbreak the iPhone. A member of the Dev-Team by the name of MuscleNerd has confirmed that the updated bootrom would make jailbreaking the iPhone impossible at the moment. iClarified hopes that the Dev-Team finds a new vulnerability they can exploit. The updated iPhones started shipping last week.
