Is Fred Dead? No, He’s Alive and Kicking

Rumors have been circulating around the web that one of YouTube’s most popular stars, Fred, has died. While I’m sure that 50% of the YouTube user-base wish this was true, it simply isn’t. Lucas Cruikshank, who plays the incredibly irritating, high-pitched, fast-paced “thing” is still alive and well, as noted in a tweet above.

While it’s great to say that ‘either’ Lucas or Fred is dead (gosh, those two words go so well together), it’s not apparently clear where these rumors have originated, but I have a good idea:
