Goodbye Fabled iTablet, Hello Microsoft Courier!

We’ve all been drooling over rumors upon rumors and mock ups of the mysterious iTablet. Today, Gizmodo has gotten an exclusive on a new device from Microsoft that seems to be more incredible than the fabled iTablet. I’m talking about the Microsoft Courier, Microsoft response to the iTablet. Unlike Apple’s iTablet, the Courier is a real device and according to Gizmodo it’s in “late prototype” stage. The booklet-like device combines two approximately 7-inch screens that can be flicked and touched with your fingers or written and drawn on with a stylus. The device comes equipped with a camera in the back and just like the Palm Pre it can be charged using an inductive pad. Awesome!

Unfortunately, a video on Gizmodo can’t be embedded on our website. So, if you’d like to learn more about this brilliant device, see more photos and the video click here. I actually don’t really care about the iTablet anymore. I’ll believe it until I see some concrete evidence it even exists.
