When we first reported about the Opera 10 browser release last week, we had no idea that we’d be coming back today announcing the browser has been download 10 million + times (according to Opera, themselves). In case you didn’t know, that’s a huge feat. And while not really comparative to Firefox’s world distribution, users are actually satisfied with Opera 10.

Though I haven’t tried myself, I have heard that Opera 10 is about as quick (if not quicker) than Google Chrome. If that’s true, there’s the recipe for success.

We’re looking forward to seeing where Opera takes this next.
