Whilst we warn that the following may be a rumor, the Boy Genius Report is reporting they received a tip from a “reliable source” regarding Apple’s iTunes 9 software. More specifically, some new possible features.
For starters, iTunes 9 is slated to support Blu-ray. As a side note, Blu-ray support is also expected to be available on Apple’s new iMac variety, according to Apple Insider. Next comes the ability to visually organize and manipulate your iPhone/iPod Touch’s applications. Finally, some sort of integration with Last.fm, Facebook, and Twitter, according to the BGR article. While the details on the integration “feature” of iTunes 9 aren’t quite so clear yet, we’ll go ahead and leave that to your imagination until we get some more information on it.
