Bix Gets The Ax From Yahoo
Eric Calouro | Aug 04, 2009 | Comments 1
Yahoo has made the decision to shut down another start-up – one they purchased in late 2006. The victim goes by the name of Bix, located at bix.yahoo.com. Bix was essentially a karaoke and contest website, which apparently wasn’t too hot, otherwise the plug wouldn’t have been pulled.
The link to Bix doesn’t work anymore, of course, it will simply forward you to Yahoo’s homepage.
There is no explanation as to why Yahoo gave Bix the boot at this time, but one could assume the site was as deserted as a western ghost down, only taking resources from Yahoo.
Did anyone even know this site existed in the first place?

For karaoke without the contests Lucky Voice Home is a pretty good option… ;-)
