YouTube Home Page Gets Cosmetic Surgery

Looks like YouTube may be preparing for a slight home page re-design, or so I’m assuming. Whilst browsing the website using Google Chrome, I noticed a somewhat different look over the usual home page displayed in both Firefox and Internet Explorer:

Above is YouTube’s everyday average Joe look. Here’s the YouTube homepage on crack Chrome:

Do you see a difference? You sure do. Looks like the video giant has integrated the search bar nearby the YouTube logo, and wiped clean some of the menu items, making the interface a lot less crouded. It’s completely understandable that Google would start this off with their own browser, but it’s unknown when the design will become effective in other browsers.
Of course, the ads are still in-your-face.
