Firefox Dominating The World: Approaches One Billion Downloads

onebilplusyou

It’s no doubt that Mozilla’s Firefox browser is the creme de la creme of internet browsers, and it’s with no surprise that states that downloads are quickly approaching the one billion mark. It may even be Friday  (or Saturday) in which the barrier is broken (likely, Friday).

You yourself can keep track of the figures by following Firefox Counter on Twitter. As of this writing, the counter is displaying 999,182,603 downloads and increasing at a rate of roughly 14.5 downloads per second!

Now, you may be asking yourself; how is Mozilla celebrating this milestone? They’re launching a website, of course. Users will be able to visit www.onebillionplusyou.com and find detailed information on the one billion downloads milestone.

Congratulations, Mozilla. Can we have Firefox 4 now, please?
