YouTube And Analytics, A Perfect Idea

You may have noticed that somewhat familiar banner on the YouTube website not long ago warning about site maintenance. If you’re really curious, just think analytics. That’s right, YouTube is now implementing in-depth analytics on your videos (example: demographics, view charts, etc). Best of all, users will be able to share how well (or not so well) your video is doing amongst the YouTube crowd.

What’s better than seeing who your viewers are and where they’re coming from? We can already see this new feature becoming a huge hit. Who knows, it may even help users attract more viewers by looking at their analytics (just a thought). What’s uncertain though is how some users will find displaying and sharing these analytics beneficial (proving a point, maybe?).
