Redesigned Yahoo Homepage Debuts Today

newyahoopage

Yahoo’s homepage will be a little bit different today for users in the United States – and eventually become different to users in the United Kingdom, France, and India of course. So what’s different in this redesign? For starters, the background shading on the left sidebar has been wiped away. Isn’t that wonderful? The biggest change on the Yahoo homepage is really the inclusion of widgets/apps from third-party developers and Yahoo’s decision to remove the massive amounts of links to various Yahoo services, allowing the user to decide which they want to show up on their precious screen real-estate.

Also starting soon; ability to sync customizations between mobile devices and desktop version of Yahoo.
