Kindle 2 Price Reduced – Smart Move

Amazon has made the wise decision of dropping the price of the Kindle 2 reading device from $359 to $299. While it isn’t a drastic drop, it’s something – perhaps enough to lure in those who might have been thinking about getting one.

Why is it a wise decision? Well, would you spend $359 on a so-called “reading device”? You might, but most people are probably hurting a little too much in this economy to spend that much money for black and white. The less money, the more attractive.

Sales have been growing with the Kindle 2, more than its predecessor, so we’re not so sure why Amazon has decided to drop the price on the device.
