Techfuga Takes a Vacation

techfugaAdmittedly, I’ve never really used Techfuga for my daily dose of tech news, but a recent tweet put out by Techfuga’s owner, Joao Azevedo, indicated that the site would be shut down for a new site platform. Here’s the kicker; it’ll be shut down not for days, but for months.

Azevedo’s tweet:

Techfuga.com will be offline for some months…Sorry for the inconvenience, we plan to rebuild the whole platform for a new site. Joao

While it’s understandable that they’re trying to make improvements to their site, is it really neccessary to bring down the site for months? Does Azevedo not think visitors will flock elsewhere?
