Facebook, The Movie! Coming To A Theater Near You Soon

Columbia Pictures’ plans to make a movie about the founding story of Facebook, are one step closer to becoming reality. The movie titled “Social Network” is scheduled to begin production this year. It will portray the story of how Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook and turned it from an on-campus members-only website to the world’s most famous social networking website. Columbia Pictures wants David Fincher, director of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, to direct this one as well. Great, just what we needed… NOT! I really hope this doesn’t start a trend where every other website wants a movie of their own. Actually, there is one exception, we would love to see ‘Erictric, The Movie’!
